Frequently asked questions
This is a demo store. Answers describe how the template's demo brand works.
Ordering & shipping
How much is shipping, and when is it free?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $50. Below that it's a flat $6. Express delivery costs $12 on any order.
How soon will my coffee ship?
We roast every week and dispatch within 48 hours of roasting. Standard delivery then takes 3–5 working days, and express takes 1–2 working days. Your order confirmation shows which roast day your coffee is in.
Where do you deliver, and can I track my order?
We deliver across India. As soon as your parcel leaves us, we send a tracking link by email and SMS.
Can I send coffee as a gift?
Yes. Tick "This is a gift" at checkout, add a note of up to 200 characters, and we'll leave the prices off the packing slip.
Freshness
What does the roast date on the bag mean?
It's the day we roasted that batch. Each product page also shows a "best from" day: most coffee tastes best after resting 5–14 days, depending on the roast, and stays at its peak for about a month after that.
How should I store my coffee?
Keep it in the bag it came in, pressed flat and sealed with the zip, somewhere cool and dark. Skip the fridge, because moisture and fridge smells get in every time you open it. Whole beans stay fresh longer than ground coffee, so grind at home if you can.
Grind & brewing
Which grind should I choose?
Choose the brewer you own and we'll grind to match it: coarse for French press, medium-fine for pour-over and AeroPress, fine-medium for moka pot and South Indian filter, fine for espresso. If you grind at home, choose Whole bean. The grind size chart has the details.
Can I change the grind after ordering?
Yes, if your coffee hasn't been ground yet. Write to us with your order number before your roast day, and we'll update it. In the cart you can change the grind on any line yourself, without removing it.
Whole bean or ground: which is better?
Whole bean keeps its aroma for weeks longer, because grinding exposes far more of the coffee to air. If you don't own a grinder, ground coffee is still excellent for the first 2–3 weeks. Buy smaller bags more often.
Returns & issues
My bag arrived damaged, or with the wrong grind. What now?
That's what our fresh-or-replace promise is for. Send us a photo and your order number within 7 days of delivery and we'll ship a new bag at no cost. You don't need to send the old one back.
Can I return coffee I don't like?
Coffee is a food product, so we can't resell opened bags. If a coffee isn't for you, tell us what you didn't like and we'll suggest one you'll enjoy more. For a first order, we'll usually send a replacement anyway.
